Sleep Timer

The sleep timer lets you fall asleep to Orbiter's ambient soundscapes without worrying about stopping playback manually.

Available Durations

  • 5 minutes
  • 10 minutes
  • 15 minutes
  • 30 minutes
  • 45 minutes
  • 60 minutes

How It Works

  1. Open the Instruments view and tap the timer button
  2. Select a duration
  3. A countdown appears showing the remaining time in MM:SS format
  4. When the timer expires, audio fades out smoothly over several seconds, then playback stops

You can cancel the timer at any time by tapping the timer button again.

Tips

  • Pair the sleep timer with the Sleepy scene preset for a gentle, sparse soundscape that won't keep you awake
  • The timer is session-local — it is not shared in collaborative sessions or included in shared URLs
